The Knitter

A new magazine: The Knitter
A wonderful excuse to sit and dream of even more tempting knitting projects.
I particularly liked the fact that it embraces more than just knitting, seeing us as whole people interested in other things too.
This magazine feels modern and has elements from other national magazines such as 'The Knitter Giveaway' which is a competition to raise funds for charity giving the reader a chance to win a bag full of all sorts of things.
The theme is cables and lace and there are some very good new patterns as well as some extracted from books. There are several well known designers contributing both patterns and technique masterclasses.
Perhaps Ipswich Knitterati will be interested to see that there is a Knitter's Reader's Club for groups to send in photos and details of the projects their members are making.
Something good for the start of this New Year.

Ahhh . . . another reminder to me that I need to venture to the bookstore to find The Knitter.

It will be worth the search.
